So underrated! Excellent spot showcasing Shanghainese cuisine to the next level. Their duck & braised pork belly are spot on… but their real star imo is the crispy fried eel. Don’t miss out on this place! They have one location in flushing & one in East village. Check it out asap!!

- Half duck (very tasty & tender)
- Braised Pork Belly (sauce is delish, pork is tender, quail eggs were delish)

I’m not really huge into Thai cuisine, but the food was pretty good. If you’re a huge fan of Thai food, then go try this place out! 🤙🏻

An excellent spot for some korean fried chicken in K-town! You can’t go wrong with the jazzy vibes & the chicken and beer at this joint. Perfect place to kick back on a weeknight or weekend with some friends/coworkers. Will definitely be back!

For party of 2, we ordered:
- Medium Wings (half and half) - super crispy and flavorful
- Terra (Korean beer) - a classic pairing with Korean fried chicken
- Grilled corn on the cob - aromatic with lots of tasty seasoning
- 2 Potato Twists - MUST! We both thoroughly enjoyed this so we got 2 (order two from the beginning to get a better deal)

And oh yeah, their food is absolutely delish! Haha. They specialize in handmade pasta & veggie appetizers. If you can’t get a resy at their sister resto, Lilia, then snag one right here at Misi! Absolutely worth it, in my opinion 🤙🏻 One of the best pasta spots in NYC

If you love Korean-style pizza, then this place is 💯 for you!

📍Appas Pizza, 210 1st Ave, New York, NY

We ordered (party of 4):
- Half & Half Golden Krust 10” - Kimchi Bacon (6.5/10) + Sausage Shrimp Pizza (7/10)

Overall, it was an okay meal. I’m not a huge fan of Korean-style pizza because it’s sort of chewy and sweet, but my friend and my wife loved it! So if you’re into that sweet potato crust, then this place is perfect for you.

If you love Korean-style pizza, then this place is 💯 for you!

📍APPA’s PIZZA, East Village NY

Honestly, it’s not really my type of pizza.. but it was def worth a try! We ordered:
- 1/2 Bulgogi & 1/2 Buldak on one pizza ($22 for 10”)
- 1/2 Kimchi Bacon & 1/2 Sausage Shrimp ($22 for 10”)
- Cajun Waffle fries ($9)

My wife absolutely LOVED this pizza, since it was nice and sweet. The dough was fluffy & moist and filled with cheese with a roasted layer of sweet potato near the crust. It reminded her so much of the pizza from Korea. So if that’s something that excites you, then this is def the place for you! For me? I enjoyed the Buldak slices, but everything else was just ok. But don’t take my word for it. You be the judge & try it for yourself!
